Power or electricity is one of the most critical components of infrastructure, affecting economic growth and wellbeing of nations. The existence and development of adequate power infrastructure is essential for sustained growth of the Indian economy. With a production of 1,006 terawatt hours (TWh), India is the fifth largest producer and consumer of electricity in the world after US, China, Japan and Russia. Recently the Ministry of Power has sent its proposal for the addition of 76,000 MW of power capacity in the 12th Five Year plan (2012-17), to the Planning Commission. The Ministry has set a target of adding 93,000 MW in the 13th Five Year Plan (2017-2022).
The industry has attracted FDI worth US$ 9,269.45 million during the period April 2000 to August 2014 and is most lucrative industry in term of growth and expansion in the upcoming years

Advantages of using Interarch Structural Steel System |
Power plant construction, in particular, involves extremely heavy loads , Interarch is capable of engineering and manufacturing such loads |
Large Clear Span structures are required in a power plant for functional needs and Interarch has capabilities to deliver 100 M clear span buildings |
Interarch follows Just in time delivery schedule hence we don't require lot of storage space at sit |
Faster manufacturing and delivery being mass production at factory |
Project structures are pre-designed and manufactured in a controlled factory environment resulting in higher quality of the building as well as faster construction. |
There are no increment in cost during the duration of the projects |
