Warehousing Sector in India
Warehousing in India market is expected to grow at a CAGR of 12.17% by 2020 driven by the growth of the Manufacturing, Retail, FMCG and E-commerce sectors. In India, warehousing space has grown by 60% in past few months with the increase in demand of domestic economy it has encouraged many foreign companies to set up their manufacturing & storage base in India. In upcoming months the sector is going to enjoy huge demands once the GST bill is passed, the main contribution of GST will be in the removal of Cascading effects. There are various Central and State taxes that are levied on goods and services. This tax-on-tax results in higher costs of goods. Implementation of GST will lead to removal of tax on inter-state sales.
Indospace Logistics Park
Indospace Industrial Park are Leading developer of industrial and logistics parks and has 17 industrial and logistics parks in Pune, National Capital Region, Bengaluru and Chennai, and plans to invest $1 billion in the country in the next five years to take its total investment to $1.75 billion. This will take its development pipeline from 20 million square feet to 50 million square feet.
Project Spotlight – Indospace Logistics Park Jhajjar , Haryana
Interarch played a significant role in constructing this infrastructure & warehousing space for the Indospace Logistics Park in Jhajjar, Haryana. Till date Interarch has executed and constructed nine buildings with covered area of over 75,000 Sq M at the Jhajjar site.
The foremost objective for Interarch’s project team was to finish the project in the stipulated time period with high safety expectations of the client. Rains & winter weather was a hurdle; as fog created visionary hindrance for labors & engineers during erection. All Safety Standard was followed at site & project was completed without any accidents. In totality 2700 MT of steel was supplied and erected and 1,65,141 Sq. M. of roofing & sheeting was supplied and installed. The buildings were manufactured at Interarch Pant Nagar Plants
